Can a black guy and skateboarder be friends ?
Im 12 and at school i have my best friend bradley hes your typical skater and hes white he my best Friend so much my friend im starting to catch a little of his personality but here the thing he wants me to learn how to skateboard and well roller skating and rollerblading are easy but skate boarding im afraid is hard and i want to learn but my other friends who are black a giving me grief saying a black man should not skate and that i should be hood and all that jazz but im not hood im a bit of a book worm and a jock and im very proper when it comes to talking to people i have my moments when im str8 up ghetto but that's not even that often please help i dint want to hurt my friends feelings im to empathic but i don't want to get picked at and beat up even more than i already an
Don't let any of your friends mold and shape your life. You can hang out with anyone you want to and do whatever you want to no matter what people think or say. I used to let a friend take over my life because it seemed like the easier path and I was worried I'd hurt her feelings, but I felt like I was stuck in a little glass bottle because she wouldn't let me hang out or even talk to other people. To avoid having this happen to you I'd just do whatever feels right to you.
